Our church is blessed the ability to celebrate our faith with great Christian music. We have an exceptional music program composed of many talented people.  Our music program is open to all that are interested in and enjoy sacred music.

About the Pianist

Miss Stephanie Lan, a Concert Pianist, Piano Instructor and Accompanist has received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano at Taipei University of the Arts in Taiwan, R.O.C. She has also completed her advanced study with a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from California State University, Los Angeles with special Recognition in Graduate Studies.

Miss Lan performed in the PBS Television Broadcast of the Los Angeles Christmas Concert with the Los Angeles Chinese Chorale at Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in December, 2007. In October, 2007 , she performed in Israel, and Du aj with the Los Angeles Chinese Chorale. Miss Lan premiere  Taiwanese Compositions in Washington D.C. and New York in June, 2006. In October, 2006 Miss Lan received the Silver Medal as Accom­panist for the Los Angeles Chinese Chorale at the International Folk Competi­tion in Barcelona, Spain. She was awarded the title Outstanding Overseas Young Professional by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission of Taiwan R.O.C. in 2004. In 2002, Miss Lan performed the Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra. In 2001, Miss Lan performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major at the Salzburg Music Festival. She performed Mozart Piano Concerto with the Bratislava Chamber Orchestra conducted by Dr. Jon Robertson in Vienna, Austria in 2000.

In addition to her busy performance schedule, Miss Lan also teaches Piano at her private studio. Miss Lan believes that music teaching is sharing the beauty of music for others to enjoy. Her students range from 5 years old to adults. Miss Lan’s students are frequently recognized and awarded at musical programs and competitions.
